Pasta with Olive Oil is a Delicious Meal

A very simple Italian meal to make, and a very tasty meal to eat, pasta with olive oil is healthy, delicious, and nutritious. Check out this easy recipe now.

What you’ll need to make this meal…?

If you’re thinking about making and authentic Italian dish for dinner one night, you just can’t go wrong with this baby! I’m a big fan of pasta, and this is absolutely an exquisite example of how pasta should be done. Of course, pasta is good just about any way you cook it, but that being beside the point, this is particularly good. For starters, you’re going to need:

* Pasta (Spaghetti of Fettuccini works the best)
* Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
* Unsalted butter
* Grated parmesan
* Sea Salt and Pepper

 How do you put all of this together?

As I said, this is a really simple recipe. Begin by putting water into a pot and bringing to a boil. Once it’s reached a rolling boil, add your noodles and cook until tender, just like cooking noodles for any other thing in the world. Now, get a sauce pan ready, and add extra virgin olive oil. Begin heating this, and once it is hot, add your butter. When your pasta finishes cooking, drain MOST of the water, keeping a little along for the ride. Pour pasta and extra water into the sauce pan. Or pour the sauce into the pot with the pasta. It doesn’t much matter, as long as you combine the two. Add salt and pepper in whatever amounts you prefer, and stir until the pasta is well coated in the sauce. Turn off the heat on the stove top, add in the grated parmesan cheese, and continue to stir until the cheese is evenly distributed along with the sauce, coating the pasta nicely. Serve with whatever side dished you desire. I prefer mine with corn, garlic bread, and extra parmesan cheese and pepper.

 Other optional ingredients for your pasta meal

Obviously, there are other items you could be adding to this meal, if you choose to do so. The recipe I’ve given is a great recipe, but it’s not set in stone. I recommend you play with it and find out if there’s something you might like better in your pasta, or something that adds more flavor to your meal. Some of my favorite things to try with this dish include adding extra cheese and different types of cheese, or adding a very light bit of Alfredo sauce to the oil and butter mixture, just enough for a hint of flavor. You can also add herbs, spices, and whatever else you think might taste good to your oil and butter mixture, which in turn will add more flavor to your meal. Be creative, and play with ideas. You’ll soon find that there are many options, and they all will turn you out a meal that tastes just a little different, but just as good as the last time you made it.
